Superintendent Covington on Transformation Phase 2

Stating that the general public doesn’t “have a clue what we’ve done the past two years,” Superintendent John Covington summarized operational changes in the Kansas City School District at meetings at the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce and the Paseo Academy. He rolled out his ambitious plans for Transformation Phase 2 which will concentrate on improving teaching and student learning hopeful that these plans will build the community confidence ultimately needed for a future bond issue or levy increase.
